Enjoy this soulful story of the connection between a mother (Edens Fate on Facebook) and son.

Do you feel you and your son are connected on a soul level? The relationship between a parent and child on a soul level can and often does supersede the norm. In the case of my son and I, it is apparent to most people in the way that we interact with each other on a daily basis. Most think we are brother and sister. A soulmate is someone (anyone) you feel an otherworldly connection with, a sense of having a past with, when no past is actually present. This was always my feeling towards my son, though I never did voice this to him when was younger. He was always aware of this connection too. Within the context of the ideals of what a soulmate actually is, my son and I have an otherworldly sense. We share vast knowledge that is nothing either of us has learned through this life by our own experience, but somehow we just know and share this knowledge.

Describe one of the most soulful experiences you’ve had together. Every day, everything we do is the answer to this question. There are not moments that we are not connected, and moments we are. That is not the way it works with a true soulmate of this caliber. You are always plugged in, as it is who we are, not something we consciously choose.

How do you feel that others might benefit from your relationship with your son? People see a very different kind of relationship between us. Some would like to fashion their relationship with their children to have the kind of relationship we have and do ask me how it is that we are the way we are. I would say that an actual soulmate connection that is of the parent/child kind is the deepest soulmate connection a person could have. You see, a lover or friend is someone you meet in the midst of a lifetime; a child or parent is someone you have spent an entire lifetime with. It is a relationship that has its foundation in the very creation of life.

Do you feel that you have a purpose for being together? One has to ask: what is the purpose for any soul connection? To learn, to grow, to expand one’s horizons internally. So in some way all parents and children are soulmates. But there is a deep connection that a lot of parents and children do not have. Sometimes, unfortunately, this connection may be there but gets lost in the training and brainwashing of our societal beliefs of what a parent/child relationship is “supposed” to be.

He is such an old soul, and most almost everyone who meets him feels this from him (and I) immediately. In this picture it is so apparent that he holds the wisdom of the ages. He truly is 19 going on about a thousand and 19. Often there are times when he and I talk that I wonder just who is the elder exactly. He is my treasure here on earth…
