Tell us about a deep soul connection that you’ve experienced. I have experienced a few soul connections in my time, but none like the one I am experiencing now. I met her in a trip to Toronto and the connection I felt was instant. Almost immediately I felt that I had to spend time with her. Unfortunately we live about 2,500 miles from each other. However, we talk every day, and every time I hear her voice, I just feel in an instant that I vibrate at a higher level, as if literally I am tapping into something bigger than I. It somehow feels as though I am right there next to her when we talk. I feel her presence so strongly that even though we are far apart physically, I don’t feel that I am single, I feel as if I belong with her. We are planning to meet again soon, and honestly I can’t for sure say what will happen between us. But I feel very strongly that we will be together for a long, long time.

When do you feel your most soulful? First, when I am playing music. It is unbelievable, but it is a moment where I just submit, again, to something seemingly larger than I. I feel clearly that I am creating melodies on the spot. There are times where I have been able to record when I am playing in those inspired moments, and then I listen to the recording, finding it hard to believe that such beautiful melodies just came out of me. When I am playing in public and I can see that my music is being enjoyed by the audience, I can see it in their expressions, or by subtle movements of their bodies, to the beat of my music. It is such a great feeling when I feel I have inspired and uplifted someone’s life, even if just for a moment, thanks to the music that comes out of me.

Second, when I am coaching clients (I just became a certified Calling in “The One” coach). In every session with a client, I feel I am able to tap into some sort of infinite source of wisdom that provides me the answers to their questions. I sometimes find it amazing how I came up with the words I transmit to clients. And I can tell by their reaction that somehow I just said exactly what they were needing to hear in that moment. I feel so uplifted myself when I am able to help remove from my clients their obstacles to the love they have been yearning all their lives. I really feel I am meant to be doing this kind of work, where I can make a difference in people’s love life and by doing that feeling very uplifted and inspired myself.

Where in the world have you felt the most in touch with your own soul? Without a doubt, the City of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. I have gone through a transformation here that I still find hard to describe. I have truly experienced a rebirth. What makes it so special? I guess because it is a bit isolated, what city people would call “the middle of nowhere”, the community is so receptive and welcoming of new people. This community creates a container for people to thrive, because the people here are so receptive and encouraging, that anything you want to try that you weren’t confident of trying before, you try here. I decided to join the Yellowknife Choral Society; it inspired me to reconnect with my music, and it also allowed to meet some amazing and talented individuals, with whom I feel I have a strong connection. Also, there is something about nature here I find quite spiritual. Seeing the northern lights (Aurora Borealis) is one of the most uplifting experiences I have felt in nature. Again, I feel connected to something bigger than I! Yellowknife is not your regular 20,000-people town; there is something about this place that attracts very talented and spiritually rich individuals that enrich your life, as you enrich theirs.

What qualities do you feel a soulful relationship has? A soulful relationship goes beyond the physical and the mental. It defies logic; it can move mountains when experienced. It is that feeling that you get with someone that you simply can do no wrong in their eyes. You experience the most amazing joy, you feel light, literally “on cloud 9″ with your soulful partner. By just being yourself and without even trying, you inspire, excite and fulfill your partner’s life beyond anything he/she ever thought possible. Your partner’s sole existence does the same for you. There is a feeling of “home” with them. You are both amazing individuals but magnificent together. In a soulful relationship you experience what I call “collective magnificence” because you feel inspired, enhanced, uplifted, excited in a way that you don’t experience on your own. There is literally the feeling of “I can spend the rest of my life with this person”. However, a soulful relationship also understands when it is time to let go, because you want the best for your partner, and if you see that he/she will be the happiest without you, you support him/her in their decision. You feel happy about their happiness, even if they are no longer your partner. Love doesn’t hang on, it lets go. It is free, and it respects each individual’s soul freedom.

What do you feel your soul’s purpose is? My soul’s purpose (and I believe this is true of every soul) is to show its unique gift and share it with the rest of the world. Because we are unique, we make the world richer when we allow our soul to come out and share its unique gift. I believe my soul purpose is to share with the world the gift of inspiration, by providing people with hope, that the love they have been yearning all their lives, that they have come to believe is impossible to get, is actually very possible, very real, and very abundant out there. All we have to do is believe that this is so and that we deserve it. I also believe my other purpose is to inspire and uplift people’s lives with my music.
